Feeling playful or just curious to see some real
circus artists at work? Than this festival is definitely for you!
Every year, the city of Bruges organizes Cirque Plus, a wonderful, free event dedicated to the celebration of the circus arts.
Circus lovers young and old can enjoy a wide variety of lively performances and entertaining routines, along with various dexterity workshops. All this in a relaxed but festive atmosphere located within the old city center in a lovely green setting.
There is also plenty of fun, creative entertainment available. And although there are some things especially for kiddies, most things are geared towards all age groups. Every year new material is waiting to be explored and new experiences are set in place for our amusement. This ranging from old, hand made, folk games to hot tubs and foot baths.
If you’re feeling peckish or are just downright hungry you can enjoy some appetizing snacks and wash them down with refreshing drinks. These are obviously not free! 😋The city does always provide free water, thought! 🤗
I love how Bruges takes care of it’s citizens. In a way, it reminds me a bit of bread and games, an ancient Roman way of keeping the crowds content. I don’t think that’s the intent here though. Or maybe it is.. 😋 Nevertheless, I am bent on fully enjoying whatever lovley gifts and services they provide! 😃
